People are invited to participate in this research study if their gender identity is different than their sex assigned at birth (transgender or non-binary), were born with a uterus, are 18 years and older and live in Canada.
From this research, we wish to learn more about your reproductive healthcare experiences in regards to birth control, pregnancy or having a baby.
Information is collected in an anonymous way, with no identifying details (e.g., name, postal code or email). The information that you share will remain strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purposes of this research. Participation is voluntary and you will not be paid for your time.
The survey should take you approximately 20 minutes to complete. The survey will be open until October 31, 2020. Most questions are multiple choice. Some questions have the option for open responses. Some questions may not apply and can be skipped. You can choose to not answer any of the questions. Once you have completed the survey, click the ‘submit’ button.
The plan for this study has been reviewed by a Research Ethics Board at the University of Alberta. If you have any questions regarding your rights as a research participant or how the research is being conducted you may contact the Research Ethics Office at 780-492-2615.
